DJ Agent – (Czech republic) Kne´deep/Berlin, biography
DJ Agent, named Martin Naus, is one of the longest playing and most popular DJ’s in the Czech Republic. His first public performance was in 1995 and he has gone a long way since. His sets are varied, based on techno music, but you can often find elements and tracks from other styles in them too. He is regularly featured on top of Czech DJ polls, in 2007 he came between top ten Czech DJ’s and was voted No. 1 techno DJ.
DJ Agent is also a promoter and since 2001 he has been throwing techno parties and festivals all around the Czech Rep. as eg. Techno Masters and Pigfest. He is a producer as well, owning Fylo record label and releasing on other labels - Beatbutchery, Antidandruff and Unaffectedrecords to name a few. The last named label released Agent’s latest track „Nu´Art“ in November 2008.
In 2005, Agent performed at Sziget festival in Hungary right before DJ Rush and Rush liked his set so much that he offered Agent to be represented by his agency Kne´deep. Since then DJ Agent regularly appears in clubs and at festivals all around Europe.
Agent’s musical scope is very wide, but he prefers intelligent techno with ideas, sudden breaks and fat bass line.
